There are 40 football federations representing for 40 teams to attend this ceremony.
AFC will divide 40 teams into 5 pots based on their ranks on in FIFA Rankings on July 6.
After the draw to identify 8 groups, 40 teams will follow double round-robin format. Eight group winners and 4 best second teams will get the tickets to the third qualifying round of World Cup 2022 qualifiers in Asia zone.

Group A: Guam, Maldives, Philippines, Syria, China.
Group B: Nepal, Kuwait, Taipei China, Jordan, Australia.
Group C: Cambodia, Hongkong, Bahrain, Iraq, Iran
Group D: Singapore, Yemen, Palestine, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia.
Group E: Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India, Oman, Qatar.
Group F: Mongolia, Myanmar, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Japan.
Group G: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, UAE.
Group H: Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan, Korea, Lebanon, Korea.
The opening match of Vietnam in World Cup 2022 second qualifying round will kick off on September 5 in which all the supporters will witness the ‘El Clasico’ of ASEAN zone between Vietnam and Thailand. Vietnam side is expected to have an away match to Thailand field.
